Visiting Lecturer, Film and Animation

Visiting Lecturers are typically hired to fill a permanent position for a limited period of time, usually not to exceed three years, while a search is being conducted for an open position or a permanent faculty member is on an approved leave of absence. Visiting Lecturers will teach classes, advise/mentor students as assigned, and may engage in department/college service activities.The School of Film and Animation (SOFA) is inviting applications for a Visiting Lecturer faculty position in Animation. Applicants with an MFA, non-terminal Mastes or Bachelor degree with related professional experience will be considered for this faculty position. SOFA provides a creative community where students have the opportunity to discover their unique talents and expressive potential, while at the same time developing the skills needed to fulfill any creative or technical role in the film and animation industry.SOFA enrollment is 380+ undergraduate and 50 graduate students. In certain circumstances, skill qualifications, exceptional professional and creative experience in a design-related field may be considered.
