The teaching load is five courses per year, plus some amount of service (including advising and mentoring roles). Strengths in the study of other media—animation, comics, gaming, television, radio, digital modes—are also welcome. Applicants must have a Ph.D. in Film Studies, Media Studies, English, or a related field, by August 15, 2026; a scholarly record appropriate to a visiting appointment at a research-intensive university; and demonstrated excellence in teaching.
