Video Gaffer/Grip/ Studio Assistant (LOCAL RESIDENTS ONLY)

Video production company seeks a technically minded studio assistant to manage equipment and facilities along with light camera work. This is a perfect job for someone who has photography, film, and video experience but wants to develop their overall production skills. This is not your average job. It involves collaborating with a team of creative video professionals and assisting with multiple aspects of production from facility and equipment maintenance to lighting and camera. It is very important that you have previous production equipment and digital video knowledge. Carpentry and electrical skills for set building and maintenance is a plus. You will get to work on various types of videos with celebrities, actors, and political figures. If you like handling production equipment and studios, this will be a perfect job.

Job Duties: (a few of these will be done on occasion)

- Equipment manager

- Studio Camera Operator

- Lighting and Electrical Work

- Grip Work

- Audio Recording

- Prepping Camera Equipment

- Studio and Equipment Maintainence

Training/Degree/Experience in Video Production or Broadcasting preferred

Experience:

Photography, film, or television: 3 years (Required)
Facility maintenance and management: 1 year (Preferred)
lighting and audio: 3 years (Preferred)
Camera Operator: 3 years (Preferred)

Pay: From $20.00 per hour
