Jinny's Music Studio is a recording, rehearsal, and event space in San Jose featuring a Steinway Model B, a professional recording chain, 4K multi-camera capability, and an intimate recital hall seating up to 50. We film performances, recording sessions, recitals, and commercial content in-house, and we're looking for a skilled camera operator to join us on a per-shoot basis. We are shooting a commercial near the end of this month and need a local operator on site to shoot takes based on our producers vision. Responsibilities Operate cameras (4K) on multi-camera shoots of live music performances, recording sessions, recitals, and eventsExecute a director's shot list with precision — including long, held takes where framing, focus, and stability matter more than coverage volumeFrame and reframe live, unscripted performance in real time without disrupting the room or the performersAssist with camera, lens, and lighting setup and teardownHandle media responsibly — card offloads, file naming, and backups before leaving a shootWork quietly and professionally around active recording sessions where noise discipline is mandatory What's On-Site 4K multi-camera setup (available for your use; you're welcome to bring your own gear)Studio lightingRecital hall, main studio floor with the Steinway Model B, and dedicated vocal booth We do not have a stabilizer.
