Valley Cinema - Janitor

Primary Responsibilities:Service, clean, and supply restrooms with appropriate cleaning solutionsVacuuming, and sweeping of carpeted areas; mopping of all hard surface areasEmpty all garbage receptacles and clean out these receptaclesReplace air freshener cartridges and urinal blocks as neededPick up large trash items and sweep up all small debrisWipe down seat backs on a rotational basisWipe down drinking fountains and benchesRemove gum and any other sticky matterKeep dumpster area neat and orderly; dumpster lid and surrounding gates should be closed (locked if required)Maintain janitorial closets in a clean, organized and safe mannerMaintain janitorial equipment in a clean, safe and operable conditionADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIESStay in constant communication with management at all times regarding shortages on supplies and questionsOther routine maintenance duties as assignedNotify management of any potential safety hazardsRequirements Ability to work effectively with a team. Knowledge of vacuuming, sweeping, mopping and scrubbing. The work for this position is performed inside the movie theatre, sometimes around theatre customers and other employees. The employee must be aware that chemicals are often used in this position.
