Casting a time-loop rom-com proof of concept/short film. Synopsis: A young man is given repeated opportunities to relive the same moment in an attempt to make the perfect first impression on the woman he believes is his soulmate. Guided by an eccentric self-proclaimed god of love who can reset time, each attempt only pushes him further from the genuine connection he is trying to create. The film's tone is grounded, naturalistic and lightly surreal, with humor rooted in authentic human awkwardness. The completed film is intended for festival submission and is being developed as a proof of concept for a feature-length project.
