My generation has had a high school experience that seems incomprehensible to anyone who hasn’t been through it. We were the first to grow up with social media and this has had its consequences. We have had record numbers of mental health issues and suicides, and they have not improved since.
The Boy's Room will deal with some of the problems of our generation head on. Rampant misogyny and cyber harassment to name some. The point is not to make light of these issues, but to capture the essence of their absurdity.
