Tenure-Track Professor: American Cinema & Television

The University of Chicago invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor position in American Cinema and/or Television with a start date of July 1, 2027 or as soon as possible thereafter. The appointment may cover mainstream, independent, experimental, animated, and nonfiction cinema and/or television from any period. The successful candidate will pursue an independent research agenda, teach undergraduate and graduate courses, advise at all levels, and contribute to committees.
