Utah Film Center’s Media Education programs introduce K-12 students to the power of filmmaking as a learning resource, storytelling method, and prospective career. We are seeking Utah professionals for this position. Applicants are not required to be located in Salt Lake Valley, but must live in the state of Utah and have reliable access to transportation.Utah Film Center • 375 W 400 N, Salt Lake City, UT 84103Utah Film Center (UTFC) is a Salt Lake City‑based 501(c)3 that connects people, stories, and ideas through film and media arts. Founded in 2002, Utah Film Center presents films for cinema lovers of all ages, offers in‑class and teacher‑focused education programs, and offers support for filmmakers. Teaching Artist schedules will be created based on availability between these dates and times and the number of workshops booked by Utah teachers.Record and report hours worked, miles traveled, and other essential data points.QualificationsIndustry experience in the field of film, media, and/or media production.Experience with live instruction and/or training with K‑12 learners is strongly preferred.Ability to develop engaging and interactive learning experiences is strongly preferred.Ability to travel independently to a variety of Utah schools, within a predetermined service area.Fluency in Spanish is preferred, but not required.Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal skills.A positive, self‑motivated, adaptable, innovative personality that is willing to work in a dynamic, fast‑paced, mission‑driven organization.Demonstrates a passion for film and media arts education for changing hearts and minds.#J-18808-Ljbffr
