Role Summary:

As a Sushi Culinary Specialist, you will take charge of preparing and presenting exquisite sushi, including sashimi, nigiri, maki, and classic rolls, following established recipes. Your enthusiasm for culinary arts, along with prior restaurant experience (preferred), will help you engage with guests and contribute to a fun atmosphere. We are looking for high-energy individuals who are outgoing and committed to quality as team players.

Responsibilities:

Prepare all types of sushi in accordance with approved recipes and portion controls. Follow and execute daily prep lists. Implement procedures to minimize food waste and theft. Ensure cleanliness of food preparation areas and equipment after each use. Present a professional image through proper culinary attire. Consistently achieve standard operating procedures related to safety and sanitation. Regularly clean and sanitize high-contact areas for both employees and guests. Use Personal Protective Equipment effectively while performing specific tasks. Adapt to the frequency and scope of required cleaning tasks. Monitor safety and security concerns and promptly report them to management. Complete other work-related duties as assigned. Requirements:

Must be at least 18 years of age. Complete basic food handling training and obtain any necessary local or state certifications. Team members who serve alcohol must successfully complete Safe Alcohol Service training. Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Maintain regular and consistent attendance. Exhibit an energetic and friendly demeanor during each shift. Deliver outstanding guest service. Possess strong interpersonal skills, capable of effectively communicating with diverse guests. Ability to work both in a team and independently. Take direction effectively and respond with urgency. Prior experience as a Sushi Cook is preferred. Ability to prepare food with a sound understanding of techniques and equipment. Clearly explain food preparation processes to guests. Advanced knife skills are a plus. Physical and Environmental Requirements:

Frequent bending, kneeling, and lifting up to 50 lbs. Frequent standing, walking, and reaching throughout the theater. Noisy environment that may vary from moderate to high levels. Must be able to work on your feet for extended periods. Benefits Available:
