Summer Filmmaking Opportunity with Youth Cinema Project - Voice Acting and Voiceover

This is a short-term, high-impact opportunity to work with students (grades 5–12) in an accelerated filmmaking program where you’ll guide them from concept to final film. Program Details: Dates: June 8 – July 2 Paid Training: Mid-May (required prior to placement) Schedule: 5 days/week (~30 hours/week) Juneteenth is observed on June 19 4 hours teaching daily 1 hour prep + 1 hour admin Location: In-person, Bakersfield, CA Pay: $31.80/hour (after training) You’ll be co-teaching alongside another mentor, using our curriculum to support students through writing, production, and editing, while helping create a positive and collaborative classroom environment.
