Summary: Film Pittsburgh is seeking an intern for their Teen Screen program for Fall 2026. The intern will assist with marketing research, film curation, and curriculum development, working closely with the Director of Education and the team. Responsibilities: - Working with the Director of Education on ongoing outreach and curriculum projects - Helping to build and manage our user database and reach new teachers - Assisting in screening and selecting new films (especially shorts) for our roster - Collaborating on new teaching guides, researching and writing about recently acquired films, and updating older teaching materials - Assisting with box office sales and guest services during film festivals and events Required Qualifications: - 5 or more hours of availability per week - Interests in independent film and education - Exceptional writing and communication skills - Experience using MS Excel and Word to maintain databases and write collaboratively Preferred Qualifications: - Area knowledge in one or more of our key subjects is a plus: Civil & Human Rights, the Holocaust, Appalachian Culture, Environmental Science, and Cultural Diversity
