'Sour Jar'

Casting "Sour Jar," a short drama with a thread of folk-magic realism. After surviving an assault, a young Nigerian-American woman and her closest friend perform an old ritual meant to call down justice, and as the natural world begins to answer, she makes a quiet, irreversible choice about how she wants the story to end. A film about belief, survivorship, and what justice actually costs. Mature subject matter, handled with care.
