Social Media Intern, MX

About the position

MUBI is seeking a driven student passionate about cinema and digital media to intern with its marketing team in Mexico City. The intern will produce creative content, curate a locally resonant social media agenda, and gain hands-on marketing experience. The role focuses on keeping MUBI’s social content culturally relevant in Mexico, promoting programming, supporting community engagement and asset creation, and contributing to content marketing initiatives and marketplace research. The internship lasts six months and provides a stipend of MXN 5,500 per month.

Responsibilities

Ensure MUBI’s social media content remains culturally relevant within the Mexican landscape.Cut film clips used to promote MUBI programming.Support the social team with community interaction and asset creation.Develop ideas and strategies for content marketing initiatives.Liaise with external partners to amplify MUBI and deliver related materials.Research and report on competitive trends in the marketplace.Cover other day-to-day tasks as they arise.Requirements

Currently a student of cinema, communications, media, or a related field.Proficient video editor with experience using Premiere Pro and Adobe Creative Cloud.Has a personal computer capable of running relevant software.Organized and resourceful learner with strong writing ability.Familiar with and committed to independent and international film.Well-versed in social media and up-to-date on digital trends.Interested in understanding the industry landscape.Benefits
