Role Summary:

As a Beverage Specialist, you will enhance the movie-going experience by guiding Guests in ordering food products and beverages. This role involves greeting Guests, providing engaging interactions, making menu suggestions, and delivering prompt counter service. You will be a vital link between our Guests and the culinary team.

The Beverage Specialist may also be asked to cross-train as a Restaurant Worker, Concessionist, Box Office Cashier, or Usher, depending on staffing needs.

Responsibilities:

Greet Guests warmly and professionally.

Maintain comprehensive knowledge of bar and menu offerings to enrich the Guest experience.

Accurately record food and beverage orders from Guests promptly.

Handle all cash register transactions responsibly, ensuring accuracy and security.

Verify Guest identification to confirm legal age for alcohol purchases.

Ensure compliance with alcohol consumption in designated areas.

Employ suggestive selling techniques consistently to enhance sales.

Collaborate with the kitchen team to guarantee accurate food orders.

Keep high-contact areas clean and sanitized for Guest safety.

Utilize Personal Protective Equipment for position-specific tasks.

Be adaptable to the cleaning requirements as they arise.

Monitor safety and security issues and report them to management.

Perform additional duties as assigned.

Requirements:

Must provide proof of age (18 or 21 depending on state) to serve alcohol.

Complete basic food handling training and obtain any required certifications or health cards.

Attend and complete a Safe Alcohol Service training program.

Availability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Regular and consistent attendance is required.

Maintain an energetic and friendly attitude during shifts.

Exhibit excellent Guest service skills.

Possess accurate cash handling skills and basic math proficiency.

Strong interpersonal communication skills; ability to converse effectively in English.

Ability to work collaboratively in a team and independently.

Follows directions promptly and responds with a sense of urgency.

Physical and Environmental Requirements:

Frequent bending, kneeling, and lifting up to 50 lbs.

Frequent standing, walking, and reaching throughout the theater.

Noise levels may vary from moderate to high.

Required to work while standing for extended periods.
