Skill and experience: Regularly drive product planning/roadmap, platform features, and functional area strategy with a focus on scientific fundamentals Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree with 5+ years OR Master's degree with 2+ years, OR PhD-level research experience in Materials Science, Physics, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related fieldStrong understanding of solid-state physics, including metals, transition metal oxides, surfaces, and interfacesWorking knowledge of chemical kinetics applied to CVD, ALD, and PVD processesExperience with thin-film characterization techniques such as SIMS, XPS, EDS, AFM, SEM, TEM, or XRR Preferred Qualifications: Experience in semiconductor process development or high-volume manufacturingHands-on experience with thin-film deposition equipment in a lab or cleanroom environmentProficiency in data analysis, statistics, and extracting insight from large electrical and physical datasetsExperience applying AI, automation, or coding tools to accelerate engineering workflowsStrong written and verbal communication skills for cross-functional technical collaboration As a world leader in the semiconductor industry, Micron is dedicated to your personal wellbeing and professional growth.
