DEFIANCE: THE DADE MASSACRE
Project: Historical Feature Film | Epic Drama & Action
December 1835. Deep in the Florida wilderness, Major Francis Dade leads a column of 108 U.S. soldiers through treacherous territory. What begins as a routine march turns into one of the most horrific military disasters in American history. Ambushed in the tall sawgrass by Seminole warriors fighting relentlessly for their homeland and freedom, the detachment is brutally cut down in a relentless, bloody battle that ignites the Second Seminole War. Out of 108 men, only three survive the catastrophic ambush.
Defiance: The Dade Massacre is a raw, visceral, and uncompromising epic. We are bringing this harrowing historical event to life with gritty realism, intense physical action, and deep human drama.
Casting Call: Seeking high-caliber, dedicated actors for key lead and supporting roles. Must be ready for an intense, emotionally demanding, and powerful production.
