Mensa is an officious condescending, conniving overgrown child with a soft spot for his Mommy. He is the White House Chief of Staff, "The President’s Brain" ("Sort of an upgrade from idiot to imbecile."). We’d prefer him to read in the mid‑forties to early sixties range. He’s a character of the type that might have been played by Jackie Gleason or Richard Deacon or Gale Gordon or even David Hyde Pierce. Mensa is in ten out of twenty scenes.
