Role Description
As a Production Intern, you will support the production team with the coordination and execution of projects across film, animation, and immersive media. Day‑to‑day tasks may include assisting with production planning, organizing schedules and documentation, helping maintain quality standards, and supporting communication between creative, technical, and external partners. You may contribute to research, logistics, and administrative tasks that keep productions on track, as well as help prepare materials for internal reviews and external presentations.
This is a fully remote internship. Applicants should be based in the Eastern Time Zone (or able to work primarily during Eastern Time hours) to facilitate collaboration with the Creative Director and project partners in New York.
Qualifications
Exceptionally organized, detail‑oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the confidence to communicate professionally with artists, collaborators, venues, and partners.
Proactive and resourceful, with the ability to anticipate needs and solve problems independently.
Comfortable managing calendars, schedules, documents, and project timelines while keeping multiple moving pieces organized.
Ability to work independently in a fully remote environment while maintaining clear and consistent communication.
Interest in independent producing, creative project management, arts administration, or production coordination.
Strong research skills, with the ability to identify funding opportunities, presenters, partners, and other resources.
Comfortable learning new tools and workflows (Google Workspace, Notion, Airtable, Asana, Canva, or similar platforms).
Passion for film, animation, immersive media, live performance, interactive storytelling, or emerging technologies.
Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in film, media, arts administration, communications, theater, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
Must be available to work primarily during Eastern Time business hours. This is a fully remote position.
Nice to Have
Experience with Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere, Photoshop, After Effects).
Experience with Canva or Figma.
Social media or marketing experience.
Grant writing or nonprofit experience.
Experience working in theater, film, festivals, museums, or creative startups.
Familiarity with XR, games, immersive media, or interactive storytelling.
Because you’ll work directly with the Creative Director, we’re looking for someone who is eager to take ownership, grow with the studio, and potentially transition into a longer‑term production or executive support role.
