About the position
Regal Cinemas Walden Galleria 16 RPX & 4DX is hiring part-time Cast Members to provide guest service, cleanliness, and a positive movie-going experience. Cast Members may work in the Box Office, Concession Stand, or as an Usher, depending on theatre needs and employee availability. The role requires weekend and holiday availability, including Christmas and New Year's; weekday opening or closing availability is preferred. Weekend late-night availability is listed as 11:45 PM for minors and 1:00 AM or later for non-minors.\n\nFloor Staff are representatives of Regal and are expected to follow company policies and the mission statement, attend work regularly and consistently, handle emergency situations when called upon, perform general cleaning duties, and comply with the company dress code. Responsibilities
Provide guest service by selling tickets and concessions and/or working as an usher.Maintain regular and consistent attendance, follow company policies and dress code, perform general cleaning, and respond to emergency situations when called upon.Operate the Box Office point-of-sale system and accurately handle cash drawers, cards, travelers’ checks, gift cards, and redeemed discount tickets, passes, and coupons.Upsell or suggest premium viewing experiences, promote the Regal Crown Club, sell tickets in accordance with the MPAA rating system and company policy, and respond to guest calls and questions.Operate the concession point-of-sale system and accurately handle payments, redeemed coupons, and concession stock inventory.Operate, prepare, and clean concession equipment; upsell; follow food safety laws and break or meal-period laws; and maintain applicable alcohol certifications and training.Read and understand training materials on topics including sexual harassment and discrimination.Tear and collect tickets, direct patrons to auditoriums, inspect backpacks and packages when applicable, manage crowd control, and assist guests with seating.Enforce the MPAA rating system and conduct auditorium inspections to monitor picture and sound quality, deter film and content theft, and help maintain a safe environment.Report problems, discrepancies, and unusual situations to theatre management.Perform in-auditorium concession sales as directed, clean auditoriums after scheduled shows, and maintain cleanliness in restrooms, lobby, hallways, and other areas outside auditoriums.Monitor theatre vending equipment and assist with assigned opening and closing duties.Requirements
Complete the cast certification program as a cast member and as a box office cashier, or be progressing toward completion.Be available to work weekends and holidays, including Christmas and New Year's.Possess good public-speaking and listening skills and communicate clearly and directly.Perform calculations quickly and accurately and identify and correct errors.Identify problems, gather relevant information, evaluate alternatives, draw evidence-based conclusions, and perform under pressure or opposition.Have excellent communication skills with customers, coworkers, and management; establish goals, budget time, and set priorities.If assigned to sell or serve alcohol, be of legal age under applicable state or local laws, complete required state or local training, obtain the required certificate, and complete Regal Responsible Beverage Server training on Regal Online University.Frequently stand, walk, sit, use hands, reach, and talk or hear; occasionally climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; and occasionally lift up to 60 pounds.Meet the role's close, distance, and peripheral vision, depth perception, and focus-adjustment requirements.Nice-to-haves
