Real Estate Photographer (Part-Time)

Location: Buffalo, NY

Schedule: Part-Time, approximately 25 hours per week on average

Pay: $25.00 to $28.50 per hour, plus mileage reimbursement

We’re looking for an outgoing, friendly, reliable, and customer-focused Part-Time Real Estate Photographer to join our team in the Buffalo, NY area.

If you can walk into a home, confidently introduce yourself, hold a great conversation with a real estate agent or homeowner, and represent a company professionally, we want to hear from you.

Photography experience is a plus, but it is not the most important thing to us.

We can teach you our photography systems and processes. What we’re really looking for is someone with the personality, work ethic, technical aptitude, and reliability to become a trusted member of our team.

What You’ll Do

Travel throughout the Buffalo area to residential properties for scheduled appointments
Capture interior and exterior real estate photography
Learn to capture video and drone media as you progress through training
Provide a friendly, professional experience for real estate agents, homeowners, and other clients
Follow established shot lists, systems, and quality standards
Review and manage media using your personal laptop after appointments
Upload files and complete post-shoot processes accurately
Troubleshoot basic technical issues independently
Think critically and take initiative when unexpected situations arise
Communicate clearly with the team when questions or scheduling changes come up
Represent the company professionally at every property

This is a field-based, customer-facing role. You’ll spend much of your workday driving to appointments, working inside and outside residential properties, using technology, and interacting directly with clients.
Schedule & Availability
This position averages approximately 25 hours per week, but it's important to understand that real estate photography is a seasonal industry.

Typical workload may look like:

November through March: approximately 10 to 15 hours per week during slower periods
April through October: approximately 25 to 40 hours per week depending on demand

Because weekly hours can fluctuate, this position may not be the best fit for someone who requires the exact same number of guaranteed hours every week.
Required Availability
Candidates must be available

At least 3 to 4 weekdays per week during typical business hours (9AM-5PM)
At least one full weekend day each week
With enough scheduling flexibility to accommodate changing appointment volume

You must live within approximately 20 minutes of Buffalo, particularly within the areas north, east, or south of the city for quick access to the properties.
A significant amount of local driving is involved, so a reliable personal vehicle is required.
Compensation
Compensation is based on scheduled on-site units.
One unit represents 60 minutes of scheduled on-site appointment time.

Paid training: $25.00 per unit
Standard photoshoots: $25.00 per unit
Once FAA Part 107 drone certified: $27.50 per unit
Once fully certified with companies video process: $28.50 per unit
Full certification is typically reached approximately 90 days after your first solo shoot following training
Mileage reimbursement: $0.30 per mile

Equipment
We provide the professional equipment needed to perform the job, including camera, video, and drone equipment as applicable.
You will need to provide:

A reliable vehicle and valid driver's license
A reliable laptop capable of reviewing and managing media after appointments
Reliable internet access for uploading media and completing post-shoot tasks
