The Palm Springs International Film Society offers paid internships at $18 per hour. Interns are paid hourly and are eligible for overtime pay in accordance with applicable wage and hour laws. Interns should be available to work at least 20 hours per week for a minimum of six weeks. We are interested in applicants who want to learn more about the film industry, communications, event planning, and business management.
Our program gives interns hands-on experience in their chosen field, insight into how a nonprofit organization works, and an inside look at how a film festival operates. Each season we welcome a new cohort of interns who contribute to two major international film festivals, the Palm Springs International Film Festival and Palm Springs International ShortFest, along with our year-round programming.
We accept applications year-round and review them in two periods: October through January, and May through June. You can expect updates on your application during these periods.
