Job Title: Production Operator (Film Coating)

Summary: Nesco Resource is seeking a Production Operator – Film Coating to support film coating and manufacturing operations within a regulated production environment in Rochester, NY. This direct hire opportunity is responsible for operating production equipment, assembling components, performing quality inspections, and ensuring compliance with strict safety, quality, and regulatory standards. The ideal candidate is mechanically inclined, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, team-focused manufacturing environment.

Pay Rate:

$20.75 – $23.38/Hour (Based On Exp.)Shift:

Flexible schedule required based on business needsKey Responsibilities:

Operate and monitor equipment used in film coating and manufacturing processesAssemble, prepare, and inspect components required for productionPerform visual and basic quality inspections to ensure products meet specificationsTroubleshoot equipment issues and escalate concerns to appropriate personnelFollow all SOPs, cGMP, OSHA, FDA, and ISO regulationsComplete production documentation accurately and in a timely mannerUtilize computer systems to access and maintain production recordsHandle and dispose of scrap materials and hazardous waste according to safety proceduresMaintain a clean, organized, and safe work environmentCollaborate with Engineering, Maintenance, and Quality teams to support production goalsParticipate in continuous improvement and process development initiativesFollow all safety procedures, company policies, and regulatory requirementsQualifications:

High School Diploma or GED required3+ years of work experience with manufacturing experience preferredExperience in regulated manufacturing environments a plusStrong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skillsBasic computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, and OutlookAbility to read, write, and communicate effectively in EnglishStrong attention to detail and ability to follow detailed proceduresTeam-oriented with excellent problem-solving abilitiesExperience with SAP or quality systems preferredKnowledge of GMP/ISO environments preferredWork Environment & Physical Requirements:
