We're a growing video production company seeking a part-time Production Assistant to help with production and post-production responsibilities. Work responsibilities would largely include assistance on a feature length documentary currently on our production slate.
Requirements:
Enthusiastic and motivated about video production
Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a film or video production program
Experienced in Premiere Pro
Detail-oriented and organized
Possesses good communication skills
Able to work independently and as part of a team
Available to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings, as needed
Your responsibilities will include:
Assisting with production tasks including gear prep, gear load/unload, setup and breakdown on filming days
Assisting with post-production tasks including footage ingest, sourcing archival footage, sourcing stock assets, assembly editing
Other administrative tasks related to video production including crew communication, rental house communication, voiceover coordination, and other tasks as assigned
This is a part-time position with starting pay of $15/hour with expected 10-20 hours per week. Filming days pay as 10-hour days. Up to $25/hour with more experience.
