Job Summary
We are seeking a qualified Post Production Assistant to support our indie feature film which is currently in post production. This is an exciting opportunity to support the post-production process from editing to final delivery. You will collaborate closely with the Director and Editor, and producer and provide administrative and editing assistance and contribute to what we think will be a highly recognized feature. This paid position is perfect for someone looking for flexible hours and part-time work.
Duties
Assist in organizing and managing digital assets
Support editing processes by preparing footage in Adobe Premiere
Help with color correction and grading tasks utilizing Adobe After Effects and Adobe Lightroom to achieve desired visual styles
Contribute to visual effects creation by supporting compositing tasks in Adobe After Effects
Aid in creating promotional materials and attend film festivals
Collaborate with the team on filming setups, capturing supplementary footage or behind-the-scenes content as needed
Experience
Familiarity with video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro is essential
Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (including Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects) is highly desirable
Prior exposure to color correction tools like Adobe Lightroom or DaVinci Resolve is a plus
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail are necessary for managing multiple assets efficiently
Previous experience supporting film or video projects—whether through internships or personal work—is advantageous.
