Part Time Professor, Motion Media Design

In this teaching position you will be required to plan and prepare comprehensive lessons, maintain an active and engaged classroom environment addressing a variety of learning styles, and provide timely feedback to students to aid in their academic progress. You will be responsible for syllabus design, submission for approval; holding office hours and conducting midterm grade reviews; providing extra-help sessions, suggesting extended-learning opportunities, guiding study trips; and conducting course- and program-level assessments with support from academic leadership. This position will require you to balance teaching of aesthetic skills (e.g. design principles, animation principles), technical skills (e.g. software instruction in animation, compositing etc. Terminal degree in a relevant field Academic and professional credentials to teach motion media design Experience in or knowledge of motion design or related professions Preferred Qualifications: Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable qualified individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions and/or meet the minimum qualifications.
