About the position The floor staff team member is classified based on individual theatre needs, and/or employee availability, as either variable hour, part-time fixed, part- time regular or a full-time hourly employee whose main responsibility is to provide superior guest service in a clean and comfortable environment. Floor Staff may be scheduled to work in the Box Office, Concession Stand, or as an Usher. Floor Staff employees must act as a representative of Regal in a way that is consistent with our mission statement and policies; including Regular and consistent attendance Handling of emergency situations when called upon to do so General cleaning duties; and Compliance with our company dress code. Provide superior guest service in a clean and comfortable environment.Assure the satisfaction of every guest.Represent the theatre in a manner consistent with the Company’s mission statement and policies.Complete all applicable training, obtain all required permits and licenses, and successfully complete a background check if assigned duties include serving alcohol.Regular and consistent attendance.Handle all monies and merchandise.Operate, prepare, and clean all concession related equipment.Properly use all concession related storerooms.Properly use all cleaning materials per MSDS.Follow all concession opening, closing, and in-between show procedures.Follow all emergency, evacuation, and robbery procedures.Utilize excellent sales techniques, including up selling and suggestive selling.Follow counterfeit bill procedures.Comply with all local, state, and federal food safety laws.Comply with dress code.Ensure guest satisfaction – smile, greet, and thank all guests.Be responsible for the accuracy of cash drawers, inventory, and coupons.Operate the popper correctly and follow emergency procedures.Abide by all federal and state laws with regards to breaks and/or meal periods.Complete progress towards completion of cast certification program as a cast member and as a concessionist.Read and understand training materials covering subjects such as sexual harassment and discrimination.Operate POS system, including the proper handling of and responsibility for accuracy of cash drawer, credit cards, travelers’ checks, gift cards and redeemed discount tickets, passes and coupons.Up sell/suggestively sell Premium Viewing Experience (3D, RPX, IMAX).Promote the Regal Crown Club program.Ensure tickets are sold in accordance with the MPAA rating system and company policy.Respond to phone calls and questions from guests in a manner consistent with our guest service philosophy.Operate POS system, including the proper handling of and responsibility for accuracy of cash drawer, credit cards, travelers’ checks, gift cards and redeemed coupons as well as concession stock inventory.Operate, prepare, and clean all concession related equipment.Up sell/Suggestive sell.Comply with all local, state and federal food safety laws.Abide by all federal and state laws with regards to breaks and/or meal periods.Ensure required alcohol certification and training are current where applicable.Tear tickets, collect and deposit appropriate stub, and direct patrons to their auditoriums.Inspect backpacks and packages when applicable.Manage crowd control and assist guests in finding seats in auditoriums when necessary.Enforce MPAA rating system.Conduct in-auditorium inspections to monitor picture and sound quality, watch for film and content theft, and help maintain a safe quality environment within the auditoriums.Report to management any problems, discrepancies, or unusual situations that arise at the theatre.Perform in-auditorium concession auxiliary sales as directed by management.Clean auditoriums at the end of scheduled shows and maintain clean restrooms, lobby area, hallways, and other areas outside of the auditorium.Monitor the cleanliness and operation of theatre vending equipment.Assist with all opening and closing duties as assigned by management.Requirements
