Role Summary:
As an Assistant Manager at our Family Entertainment Center (FEC), you'll be instrumental in ensuring smooth operations. Collaborating closely with the Game and Bowling Manager and team members, you'll help craft enjoyable experiences for guests of all ages across various activities, including bowling, gaming, attractions, and facility upkeep.
Responsibilities:
Operational Oversight:Assist in the efficient management of daily operations.Supervise staff to maintain a positive and productive work atmosphere.Respond promptly and professionally to guest inquiries and feedback.Ensure seamless communication with other departments.Monitor cash handling and inventory levels.Identify sales opportunities and areas for revenue enhancement.Bowling Management:Oversee bowling lane operations and maintenance.Coordinate and manage birthday parties and special lane events.Quickly address any lane malfunctions to minimize guest disruptions.Ensure lane etiquette and safety standards are followed.Gaming and Attractions:Manage arcade games and various attractions.Monitor guest flow and game performance while troubleshooting technical issues.Communicate current promotions or loyalty programs to the team.Redemption Center:Supervise the area where guests redeem tickets for prizes.Maintain a diverse inventory of appealing redemption items.Train staff on redemption processes and exceptional customer service.Cleanliness and Maintenance:Regularly inspect the facility for cleanliness and safety.Coordinate cleaning schedules for key areas.Address maintenance needs promptly when possible.Staff Training and Development:Train new hires on company policies and customer service standards.Encourage a positive team culture through coaching and feedback.Cross-train staff for various roles to enhance flexibility.Guest Experience:Ensure a welcoming and enjoyable atmosphere for all guests.Resolve issues quickly to maintain high customer satisfaction.Implement strategies to boost guest retention and encourage return visits.Requirements:
Previous experience in a similar role within the entertainment industry is preferred.Ability to lead and inspire a diverse team.Excellent interpersonal skills and a strong commitment to customer service.Quick thinking and effective problem-solving capabilities.Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.Familiarity with gaming systems and point-of-sale software is a plus.Physical and Environmental Requirements:
Frequent bending, kneeling, and lifting up to 50 lbs.Active standing, walking, and reaching around the facility.Moderate to high noise levels may be present.Ability to stand for extended periods.Benefits Available:
