Operator II Film Coating

The Role Operator II, Film Coating – Film manufacturing Department, Rochester, NY. Operate and troubleshoot film coating equipment, assemble components, perform visual inspections, and maintain production schedules under GMP, cGMP, OSHA, FDA, and ISO regulations. Work Schedule A-B-C shift rotation; variable shift schedule. Responsibilities Setup and assemble components for film coating production. Perform roll‑to‑roll splicing, equipment setup, product changeovers, and cleaning. Operate solution delivery systems and maintain solution balances. Visually inspect components for defects and troubleshoot equipment. Document production data in SAP reporting systems. Maintain quality and timeliness of work, meeting production schedules. Follow safety and regulatory procedures in a manufacturing environment. Qualifications High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent with 3+ years of experience. Minimum 3 months in operations or manufacturing, preferably in a regulated industry. Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office). Proficiency in SAP reporting preferred. Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting ability. Knowledge of GMP/ISO regulations preferred. Physical ability to stand, bend, stoop, lift up to 35–45 lbs, and perform repetitive tasks with manual dexterity. Ability to read and write in English. Key Working Relationships Internal partners: Maintenance, Engineering, Quality. External partners: Suppliers. Benefits Salary range: $48,000 – $62,000, bonus eligible.
