Motion Picture Film Processing Operator

Colorlab is looking for a Film Processing Operator to join our team. We are looking for someone who is mechanically inclined, dependable, and interested in learning traditional film laboratory work. Applicants should be comfortable working independently, following established procedures, and keeping accurate production records. Responsibilities Operate motion picture film processors, drying cabinets, and related equipment Monitor processing operations and film quality throughout each run Set up and adjust equipment to meet the requirements of each project Build film reels and perform reel changes on processing machines Mix and maintain film processing chemistry Perform routine cleaning and maintenance on processing equipment Keep accurate records of footage processed, chemistry, machine settings, and quality-control results Identify processing or equipment issues and report them promptly Work with other departments to keep projects moving and meet production schedules
