Seeking film industry professionals to join team Rogue Division for this year's Los Angeles 48-Hour Film Project Competition, a festival that challenges filmmakers to make a short film, from script to screen, in the span of one weekend.
We are an award-winning, longtime veteran team that has been a pillar of the LA48HFP community for over 15 years. We are a group of working industry professionals who, though it is not a requirement of the competition, run our sets like a Hollywood production. We are a large crew with plenty of networking opportunities, and we always produce an outcome everyone can be proud of, which has a life beyond the competition in further film festivals and screenings.
The competition is July 31st-August 2nd. Shoot day is August 1st, and post-production day is August 2nd. The competition stipulates that crew be unpaid, and the unknown aspect of it often leads to long shoot days, but we take good care of our crew, and the experience of the competition is golden.
