Key responsibilities include overseeing all physical production logistics from pre-production through wrap, managing budgets, scheduling, location scouting, crew hiring, and vendor negotiations. We need someone with a strong background in independent feature film production, preferably with experience navigating the unique challenges of shooting in New York City. You should be a proactive problem-solver with excellent communication skills and a deep understanding of production insurance, permits, and union guidelines (SAG micro-budget agreement for cast). Please have a proven track record (references and past project experience required) and be ready to hit the ground running. This is a paid position, with a daily rate of $1000-1500, commensurate with experience.
