Join the Bear Tooth as a Line Cook! We are hiring in our Theatre and Grill kitchens. Evening availability is preferred.

As a Line Cook, your main focus is to prepare and create delicious, high-quality food that follows the Tooth Company's recipes and accommodates customer preferences. You will work closely with both front and back-of-house teams to ensure our guests have a fantastic dining experience. Line Cooks must maintain a clean work environment and follow company hygiene and dress code policies to ensure food safety. Join us for a fun and fulfilling opportunity!

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Duties & Responsibilities

Adhere to all safety, sanitation, and policy proceduresExtensive knowledge of menu items and ingredientsRead printed tickets carefully with attention to detailAccurately produce orders following recipe guidelines and ticket specificationsMonitor temperature and cooking times while taking personal pride in every item delivered for serviceOperate kitchen equipment safelyProper handling and rotation of food according to food service codesPromptly report equipment and food quality issues to a ManagerCommunicate clearly and professionally with all staff in the restaurantComplete all opening, closing, and side dutiesAssist with dishwashing and other cleaning tasks as neededWork as a team with your fellow co-workers and treat each other with kindness and respect
Requirements
Qualifications

Must be 16 years of age or older with a Municipality of Anchorage Food Worker Card (or willing to obtain one). Experience is preferred; however, this is a teaching kitchen, and we are willing to take on the right candidate with a positive attitude in place of experience.
