Line Cook - Part-time

Line Cooks play a vital role in creating a positive movie-going experience for our Guests by ensuring food items are fresh and taste great. Ideal candidates have a strong desire to pursue culinary career paths in the future.p style="text-align:inherit"/pp style="text-align:inherit"/pp style="text-align:inherit"/ppbResponsibilities:/b/ppThe essential duties and responsibilities of a Line Cook include, but are not limited to, the following:/pulliPrepares all required items in accordance with approved recipes and portion controls/liliFollows and executes prep lists daily/liliMaintains cleanliness and proper storage of all food products in accordance with health and safety regulations/liliMaintains policies and procedures to minimize food waste and theft/liliCollaborates with server team to ensure that food orders are accurate/liliCleans food preparation area and equipment after each use - excluding assembling/ disassembling the pizza dough sheeter if under 18/liliResponsible for opening or closing a workstation (depending on scheduled shift)/liliProvides a professional image at all times through proper Cinemark culinary attire/liliEnsures that standard operating procedures and all preventative maintenance, safety, sanitation are consistently achieved/liliConsistently wipes down and sanitizes Employee and Guest high-contact areas/liliProperly utilizes Personal Protective Equipment while completing position-specific tasks/liliAdapts to the frequency and scope of required cleaning tasks/liliMonitors safety and or security issues (trip hazards, lighting, suspicious persons, etc.) Must be able to effectively and regularly converse in and comprehend English/liliAbility to work in a team environment and independently/liliAbility to take and follow direction/liliResponds with a sense of urgency/li/ulp/ppbPhysical and Environmental Requirements:/b/pulliFrequent bending, kneeling, and lifting up to 50 lbs./liliFrequent standing, walking and reaching around the theater./liliNoise level may be moderate to high at times./liliBe able to work in a standing position for extended periods of time./li/ulp style="text-align:inherit"/pp style="text-align:inherit"/pp style="text-align:inherit"/ppbBenefits Available:/b/pp/ppAt Cinemark, we believe every team member should feel like a hero.
