Lead. Evelyn Prado, the wife of the most powerful man in a remote desert border town. Radiant, composed, and adored — a woman who has performed grace so long the seams no longer show, carrying a devotion that has survived things it perhaps shouldn't have. One actress plays Evelyn across two eras of the story: the poised present-day wife, and the luminous, unguarded young woman seen in memory and dream. She also narrates portions of the film in Spanish.
MUST be natively bilingual (Spanish/English). This is a firm requirement, not a preference — the role carries extensive Spanish-language narration requiring native-speaker fluency, cadence, and poetic delivery; conversational or learned Spanish will not read on screen. Please do not submit if this does not describe you. Actor must credibly play both the character's younger and present-day eras (through performance, with hair/makeup support).
