**Introduction to Film Studies Adjunct Faculty** **Description**

South College Online seeks candidates for an adjunct faculty member to teach *Introduction to Film Studies*. Successful candidates will have a master’s degree in Humanities. Preference will be given to candidates who have successfully taught *Introduction to Film Studies* in the online format.

The position is online remote and will report directly to the Department Chair of English and Humanities.

**Responsibilities:**

* Teach Introduction to Film Studies in an online learning environment.
* Provide timely feedback and academic support to students.
* Maintain accurate records of student progress and grades.
* Collaborate with the Department Chair and faculty to enhance course quality and student engagement.

Requirements

**Education**

· Master’s degree in Humanities

· Emphasis in Film Studies, Literature, or Theatre preferred

**Experience**

·  Preference will be given to applicants with prior successful online teaching.

· Strong communication and organizational skills.

· Commitment to fostering student learning and success in a virtual environment.

· Successful applicants will likely have a passion for film and the film industry.
