Casting two actors for a 5 min (7 min at max) NYU student short film. The film tells a story of Sveta, a young Russian Immigrant in the States failing to stay connected to her culture while struggling to adapt to a new country. Unable to make friends and losing touch with home that's now a terrorist state, she prays to god and asks for a friend. Her prayers are heard, but instead of a girl her age, "God" sends her Artur -- a not so friendly looking, chainsmoking dude. Will they get along? And who was Artur before he became an underpaid guardian angel? All these questions will be answered as the two will share a cigarrete on the Brighton Beach shore. And, maybe, just maybe, they'll find home in between everywhere and nowhere.
