IMAX Theater Usher

Greet guests as they enter the theater lobby and usher them safely and courteously into the IMAX theater; create a positive impression of the Maryland Science Center for our guests through excellent customer service. Usher guests into the IMAX Theater and collect tickets.Assists with groups; greets all groups and guests who come to the IMAX theater before presentation begins.Open and close the theater.Prepares the theater, following the daily schedule, including picking up trash, vacuuming, preparing the glass cleaning machine, and polishing the stanchions.Ability to use a handheld radio and flashlight.Sit inside the theater while shows are playing SKILLS: Excellent Customer Service Strong Public speaking and interpersonalExcellent listening and communication ABILITIES: Able to work weekdays, weekends, evenings, and holidays as neededWork well with large groups of people, including childrenWork well under pressure Employment Type: PART_TIME
