Casting the two leads for Hopes and Dreams, a subtle and naturalistic relationship drama about a couple in their early 30s that begins in the aftermath of a rejected marriage proposal. This film will use a nontraditional script design. The scenes and story beats are plotted out in a two-page outline. The dialogue will be fully improvised. Actors are encouraged to allow their own experiences and perspectives to shape their characters.
