Position: 1645 Guam Megaplex 14 – Floor Staff Role OverviewFloor Staff team members are classified based on individual theatre needs and/or employee availability as either variable hour, part-time fixed, part-time regular or full-time hourly employees whose primary responsibility is ensuring our guests receive exceptional service. Floor Staff employees must act as a representative of Regal in a manner consistent with our mission statement and policies.General ResponsibilitiesRegular and consistent attendanceHandling of emergency situations when called upon to do soGeneral cleaning dutiesCompliance with company dress codeEssential Duties & Responsibilities Box OfficeOperate POS system, handling cash, credit cards, travelers’ checks, gift cards, and redeemed discount tickets, passes and coupons with responsibility for accuracy.Up‑sell/suggestive sell Premium Viewing Experience (3D, RPX, IMAX).Promote the Regal Crown Club program.Ensure tickets are sold in accordance with the MPAA rating system and company policy.Respond to phone calls and questions from guests in a manner consistent with our guest‑service philosophy.ConcessionOperate POS system and maintain accurate cash drawer, credit card, travelers’ check, gift card, and coupon records, along with concession stock inventory.Promote the Regal Crown Club program.Prepare and clean all concession related equipment.Up‑sell/suggestive sell additional items.Comply with all local, state and federal food‑safety laws.Adhere to all federal and state break and/or meal period laws.Maintain current alcohol certification and training when applicable.Undergo required training on sexual harassment, discrimination, and other mandatory subjects.UsherTear tickets, collect and deposit appropriate stubs, and direct patrons to their auditoriums.Inspect backpacks and packages when applicable.Manage crowd control and assist guests in finding seats when necessary.Enforce MPAA rating system.Conduct in‑theatre inspections to monitor picture and sound quality, watch for film and content theft, and help maintain a safe quality environment.Report any problems, discrepancies or unusual situations to management.Perform in‑auditorium concession auxiliary sales as directed by management.Clean auditoriums at the end of scheduled shows and maintain clean restrooms, lobby area, hallways and other areas outside the auditorium.Monitor cleanliness and operation of theatre vending equipment.Assist with all opening and closing duties as assigned by management.Pay Scale$9.25 per hourQualificationsTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The employee is frequently required to stand, walk, sit, use hands to finger, handle or feel, reach with hands and arms and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. The employee may occasionally be required to lift up to 60 pounds.
