What You'll Own

Team Leadership and Development

Lead, coach, and develop a multi-regional team of TA partners across the US and UKSet the standard for what great recruiting looks like and build the operating model around itDevelop your team's capability to deliver against that standard consistentlyPersonally own a select portfolio of senior, technical, and specialist requisitions that require direct involvementBuild the team's capacity over time, this role is expected to grow the function as Regal's hiring needs scale

Process and Methodology

Design and implement the TA operating model for US and UK corporate functions from the ground upBuild SOPs, quality gates, interview frameworks, and hiring manager toolkitsDefine SLAs and accountability structures that create a repeatable and equitable hiring processIntroduce metrics and reporting that give leadership meaningful insight into pipeline health and hiring performance

Employer Brand and Hiring Enablement

Lead a meaningful refresh of Regal's employer value proposition and careers pageRebuild field hiring support materials and hiring manager guides, a significant project with real impactPartner with marketing and communications to ensure Regal's story is told compellingly across all candidate-facing touchpointsEstablish Regal as a destination employer in the markets where we hire

Oracle ATS Implementation

Take ownership of Regal's Oracle ATS implementation through UAT, stakeholder training, and go-liveEnsure clean configuration, strong adoption, and data integrity across the team from day oneBuild reporting frameworks within the system that support ongoing decision making

Stakeholder Partnership

Serve as the primary TA advisor to US and UK corporate function leadersBuild trusted relationships with hiring managers and challenge hiring norms with dataBring a consultative point of view to workforce planning conversationsBe a visible and present partner in the Knoxville office, this role requires regular in-person engagement with stakeholders and the team

What We're Looking For

The Builder Mindset

Demonstrable experience building or significantly rebuilding a TA function, not just running oneComfortable creating process where little exists and sequencing work across multiple priorities simultaneouslyEnergized by ambiguity and ownership rather than needing defined structure to operate effectivelyTrack record of leaving teams and functions meaningfully better than you found them

Strong TA Methodology

Deep command of modern, efficient recruiting practiceStructured interviewing, competency-based assessment, and data-driven sourcingA genuine point of view on what great talent acquisition looks like and the ability to teach itExperience recruiting senior, technical, and specialist roles personally

People Leadership

Experience leading a recruiting team, not just coordinating oneAbility to develop junior talent, set clear expectations, and hold people accountable with careTrack record of building a culture of quality, discipline, and continuous improvementComfortable being the most experienced person in the room and modeling the standard you expect

Project Execution

End-to-end project delivery experience, ATS implementations, process builds, employer brand refreshes, hiring manager enablement programsAbility to scope, plan, and execute without being pushedStrong stakeholder management skills to drive alignment and adoption across regions

Data and Metrics Fluency

Builds reporting that tells a real story rather than just tracking activityUses data to influence hiring manager behavior and inform workforce planningComfortable establishing metrics frameworks where none currently exist

ATS Experience

Oracle Recruiting Cloud experience a plus but not requiredExperience implementing or significantly configuring a mature ATS is strongly preferredDemonstrated ability to drive adoption and data integrity across a recruiting team

A Note on Scope

This is a role with a focused team covering US and UK corporate functions, approximately 200 roles annually. It is not a sprawling global enterprise TA leadership role and we want to be transparent about that.

The right person is ownership-driven and genuinely excited about building something meaningful rather than managing something large. If you want to see your fingerprints on a function and watch a team grow because of your leadership, this is exactly that opportunity.

Location

This role is based in Knoxville, Tennessee with regular in-office presence required. Knoxville offers a strong quality of life, reasonable cost of living, and easy access to the Smoky Mountains and the broader Southeast.

Being present in the office is important for this role, for your team, your stakeholders, and your ability to make an impact. The People and Culture team is based here and this role is expected to be a visible and consistent presence.

Annual team gatherings may require occasional travel.
