We're shooting a verité-style doc exploring the vibrant arts community here in Portland, focusing on a few incredible local artists and their creative process. It's a personal, intimate so we need someone who can work quickly and subtly to achieve natural, beautiful lighting, often in real-world locations with minimal setup time. Think less big studio lights, more practicals and nimble solutions. Your main responsibilities will include collaborating with our DP to craft the lighting plan, setting up and operating all lighting equipment, and ensuring consistent, high-quality illumination throughout our shoot days. You'll also be responsible for maintaining safety standards and managing any lighting gear.
