Independent production looking for an experienced Gaffer for an upcoming feature film shooting in New Orleans. This is a gritty, character-driven drama with supernatural elements so we'll be playing with a lot of practical lighting and moody atmosphere. You'll be working closely with the DP to execute their vision, running the lighting crew and ensuring all electrical needs are met safely and efficiently. You'll need a strong understanding of lighting techniques, DMX control, and power distribution. Bring your own basic G&E kit, though a larger package will be provided by the production.
