Role Summary:
As an Assistant Manager in our Family Entertainment Center (FEC), you will be essential in ensuring our facility runs smoothly. You'll collaborate with the Game and Bowling Manager and other team members to provide a fantastic experience for guests of all ages. Your responsibilities will cover various areas such as bowling, gaming, attractions, redemption, and facility upkeep.
Responsibilities:
Operational Oversight:Assist in managing daily operations to ensure efficiency.Supervise staff during shifts, fostering a positive work atmosphere.Respond promptly and professionally to guest inquiries, feedback, and concerns.Communicate effectively with other departments to ensure seamless operations.Monitor cash handling, point-of-sale systems, and inventory levels.Identify opportunities for upselling and enhancing revenue.Bowling Management:Oversee bowling lanes, equipment, and maintenance activities.Coordinate birthday parties and special lane events.Address lane malfunctions quickly to minimize guest disruptions.Enforce lane etiquette, ensuring safety and proper conduct.Gaming and Attractions:Manage arcade games and various attractions.Monitor guest flow and game performance, troubleshooting any technical issues.Inform the team about ongoing promotions or loyalty programs in the game room.Redemption Center:Supervise the redemption area for ticket exchanges.Maintain a diverse inventory of redemption items to attract guests.Train staff on redemption procedures and customer service excellence.Cleanliness and Maintenance:Regularly inspect the FEC for cleanliness, safety, and functionality.Coordinate cleaning schedules for restrooms, common areas, and gaming zones.Promptly report and address any maintenance needs.Staff Training and Development:Train new hires on policies, safety protocols, and customer service standards.Promote a positive team culture through ongoing coaching and feedback.Cross-train staff across various roles within the FEC.Guest Experience:Ensure a welcoming atmosphere for families and individuals.Quickly address issues to achieve exceptional customer satisfaction.Implement strategies to enhance guest retention and encourage repeat visits.Requirements:
Prior experience in a similar role within entertainment settings such as arcades or amusement parks preferred.Ability to lead and motivate a diverse team effectively.Strong interpersonal skills along with a dedication to delivering excellent customer service.Quick thinking with effective problem-solving abilities.Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays when necessary.Familiarity with gaming systems, point-of-sale software, and redemption processes is preferred.Physical and Environmental Requirements:
Frequent bending, kneeling, and lifting up to 50 lbs.Regular standing, walking, and reaching around the venue.Noise level may be moderate to high at times.Ability to work in a standing position for extended periods.Benefits Available:
