Casting the two principal characters for an independently produced proof-of-concept project. "For You I Will Fly" is a contemporary love story based on true events about two people - Patrick (Irish living in New York for 20 years) and Paola (Chilean) who meet in New York City during the holidays. The story asks and answers the question - how can love endure when the obstacles of language, time, distance and serious illness stand in the way. The story moves between New York City, Argentina and Chile.
The scene will be the night Patrick and Paola first meet near Times Square. There will be not much dialogue beyond "Hello" and "Hola". The aim to recreate the strong and silent connection that sparked between them on their first meeting.
