This position monitors the grant process, builds and maintains relationships with artists and filmmakers, and maintains relevant records related to each project, working closely with Utah Film Center’s director of finance to track and apply funding. Starting pay: $25 per hour • A passion for storytelling and particularly independent film • Humble, hardworking, and people smart • Skillful at customer service and relationship building • Professional-level presentation, verbal, and written communication skills • A proactive approach to problem-solving, including calculated risk management and decision-making ability • Comfortable in a fast-paced environment with multiple tasks and projects • Adept at using discretion; regarding donors, contracts and intellectual properties • Able to work independently with minimal supervision. • Integrate modern software to streamline workflows and improve existing processes • A working knowledge of Quickbooks, Salesforce, Google Business Suite proficiency a plus • Experience with sales and contract negotiations preferred Utah Film Center is a Salt Lake City-based 501(c) (3) organization that connects people, stories, and ideas through film exhibition, media arts education, and artist support.
