Films Developer (Operational Development)

About the position

We're looking for a detail-oriented and analytical Films Developer (Operational Development) to join our team in Winchester, United States. In this role, you will be responsible for developing, analyzing, and optimizing operational processes within our film production environment. You will work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to identify inefficiencies, implement process improvements, and drive operational excellence. The ideal candidate will combine technical expertise with a strategic mindset to enhance our production workflows and operational capabilities.

Responsibilities

Analyze current film production workflows and operational processes to identify bottlenecks and opportunities for improvementDevelop and implement process optimization solutions that enhance efficiency and reduce operational costsDesign and maintain technical documentation for operational procedures, systems, and workflowsCollaborate with production teams, technical staff, and stakeholders to gather requirements and validate solutionsMonitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and operational metrics to track progress and identify areas for enhancementSupport the integration and automation of systems to streamline operational tasks and reduce manual workConduct testing and quality assurance on new processes and systems before full-scale implementationProvide training and support to team members on new operational procedures and toolsPrepare detailed reports and presentations on operational improvements and their impact on production efficiencyStay current with industry best practices and emerging technologies relevant to film production operationsRequirements

3-5 years of experience in operational development, process improvement, or film production operationsStrong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify root causes and develop effective solutionsProficiency in process mapping and workflow optimization methodologiesExperience with project management software and operational management toolsExcellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present findings to diverse audiencesDemonstrated ability to work collaboratively across departments and manage stakeholder relationshipsStrong organizational skills and attention to detailProficiency in data analysis and the ability to interpret operational metricsNice-to-haves

Knowledge of film production operations, workflows, and industry standardsExperience with workflow automation tools and systems integrationFamiliarity with continuous improvement methodologies such as Lean or Six Sigma
