FILM PRINTING PRESS

UNIMAC- KPS is a diversified print and graphic communications company serving clients in the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic regions, as well as select clients throughout the United States. The company consists of professionals dedicated to delivering world-class service in print production and customer support.

Unimac KPS is currently seeking qualified candidates to work in our Flexographic printing department and join our growing team. Individual will complete tasks such as the set-up, color match, plate mounting, and press operations of 9-10 color flexographic printing press machines. Only second shift and third shift positions available.

Essential Functions:

Set up, adjust, maintain and operate a film printing press.
Ensures that print jobs are processed per customer specifications for all assigned jobs on the flexo - web press.
Checks for color match and excellence in printing output
Must be able to read and understand job specifications.
Ensures efficient operation of presses and related equipment performing preventive maintenance requirements according to operations manuals, manufacturer's instructions and established preventive maintenance schedule.
Maintain safe and clean working environment by complying with company safety rules, procedures and regulations.
Effectively communicate with and to management.
Perform other job duties as assigned.

Education and Experience:

High school diploma or General Education Development (GED) or equivalent
Knowledge of printing processes and previous experience as a film printing pressman a plus.

Physical Requirements:

The ability to talk or hear, to stand; walk; and use hands to finger, handle, or feel.
The ability to to sit; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; use foot/feet to operate equipment; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
The ability to occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pound
