Serve as the primary point of contact for all inquiries related to film and event permits, providing excellent customer service and guidance to production companies and event organizers.
Collaborate with various city departments, including police, fire, and public works, to ensure all necessary approvals and permits are obtained for film and event productions.
Maintain a thorough understanding of the city's regulations and procedures related to film and event permitting, and stay up-to-date on any changes or updates.
Review and assess permit applications, ensuring all required information and documentation is included and accurate.
Communicate clearly and effectively with production companies and event organizers to address any concerns or issues related to the permitting process.
Manage and organize all permit records and documentation, ensuring they are easily accessible for future reference.
Conduct site visits and inspections as needed to ensure compliance with permit requirements and address any potential issues.
Collaborate with other city departments and external organizations to promote and support the city's film and event industry.
Continuously seek opportunities to improve and streamline the film and event permitting process, making recommendations for changes or updates as needed.
