We are seeking a highly driven Editing Assistant to work directly alongside our producing team on multiple active, purpose-driven documentary projects designed to inspire audiences and bring people closer to God through powerful storytelling.
This is a rare opportunity for someone who wants real, hands-on experience inside high-level film production and post-production — not coffee runs. You will be actively involved in documentary editing, story development, AI-assisted workflows, and post-production from the ground up.
## What You’ll Do
- Edit documentary content and short-form media in Final Cut Pro
- Organize footage, manage project timelines, and maintain efficient post-production workflows
- Assist with story structure, selects, pacing, sound, and creative development
- Create social media clips, trailers, behind-the-scenes edits, and promotional content
- Use ChatGPT, Claude, and emerging AI video tools to support editing and storytelling workflows
- Collaborate directly with producers and creatives in a fast-moving, mission-driven environment
- Occasionally assist on shoots with cameras, lighting, audio, and production setup as needed
## What We’re Looking For
- Strong proficiency in Final Cut Pro
- Experience editing narrative, documentary, podcast, YouTube, or social content
- Strong sense of pacing, storytelling, and emotional impact
- Organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage media workflows efficiently
- Familiarity with ChatGPT, Claude, and AI-assisted creative tools
- Interest in AI filmmaking and next-generation storytelling workflows
- Strong work ethic, creativity, and willingness to learn
- Passion for meaningful, faith-driven storytelling
